Accokeek Santa Run

Christmas Eve Santa will be making his rounds through Old Accokeek. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for route details as they become available.
A couple of safety tips to ensure your family is able to see Santa Claus:
1) Watch over your children! Everyone should stay safely in the driveway or on the side walk. Wear brightly colored clothing so you are easily seen by any and all drivers.
2) Avoid parking on both sides of the street. Santa needs room to make it down the road and be able to get out of the neighborhoods. If Santa’s sleigh cannot fit, he will have to move on to the next street.
3) Dress warmly! The temperature will be on the colder side, wear layers for when you’re waiting for Santa to turn the corner.
4) As always, be on the look out for our flashing lights and our loud sirens. This will announce that Santa Claus is nearby!
